As we sat outside a little cafe near USC, Hana described her vision of taking engagement photos in the cliffs and hills of Malibu. She showed me photos of a few spots, and immediately I was able to share in her vision, I could see what she had been dreaming of for the past year. Having shot at El Matador beach once before (and seeing it swarming with photographers) we opted for a different beach a few miles south: Pt. Dume. This beach doesn’t have cave-like rocks littered along the shore, but it has meadows and trails for days, it is truly remarkable.
After a while walking through the meadow, we headed up to the cliffs to see some of the most beautiful landscapes my eyes have beheld.
And last but not least, down to the beach. Despite the gorgeous vistas at Pt. Dume, we couldn’t help but sneak down to El Matador beach to close out this sun-kissed engagement session in the beach caves.
