Today is my last wedding of the year. It has been a whirlwind, to say the least, and this year’s weddings have really pushed me to (and beyond) my limits. I am so grateful for all of the couples I’ve worked with and I’ve had so many new “firsts” this year that I will never forget. I’m going out on a high note with Sam and Kevin’s wedding in North County San Diego. We are starting the day at the Lakehouse in San Marcos and ending at the Wood Shed at Booze Brothers Brewing in Vista. I’m sure it’s going to be a fun one!
When Sam described her vision for this shoot she knew she wanted something casual, and if possible, to incorporate some of their wedding elements… flannel, motorcycles, and beer! We couldn’t bring any motorcycles to this park, but we got the other two covered, for sure.
Sam is easy to love. She’s funny, kind, creative, and what you see is what you get. When I met Kevin at the engagement shoot, I could easily see how he complimented her personality and made her light up. He is hard-working, attentive, gentle, and I can tell when they are together they have a ton of fun. What more can you ask for?
I’m so excited to end this year of weddings with the perfect pair. Keep and eye out for wedding photos as I make a concerted effort in 2020 to share more of my work here on my blog! 🙂
