It’s officially Summer now, so you know that means I have a slew of grad photos to share with you all. I always feel nervous to share the full gallery back when the photos are taken, since people generally like to save their images for grad announcements, be it in print or on social media, and I hate to steal their thunder.
As you may know, I am a graduate of Long Beach State, so these shoots are often sentimental. I love to be back on campus, and I’m always amazed at the new additions and transformations to the buildings and landscape. I love grad sessions because they take place during my favorite time of year. The days are getting longer as the sun stays out later than usual, and golden hour is just beginning to show off. This afternoon shoot with Jennifer was no different, and the warmth from the sun paired nicely with CSULB’s new yellow signage (gotta represent the black and gold! #longbeachstate #49ers)
I met Jennifer 6 years ago when I started working at STACKED. It’s hard to believe it was 6 years ago already! This year she graduated from CSULB’s Department of Family and Consumer Sciences with a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development. I remember how hard of a worker she was back then, and I know she still is today. I can’t wait to see where this new chapter takes her!
